Sense Intellifield,Kristiansand, Norway
Sense Intellifield is
an innovative supplier of integrated automation and information systems for
drilling and well contractors and manufactures a wide range of products,
ranging from single control systems for machinery to integrated screen
based automation systems.
We are working closely with Sense Technology to develop a Server and associated Components conforming to the WITSML specifications as part of
their SiteCom suite of offerings for Remote Operations. We have developed the system in the .NET platform with C# as the development language.
We collaborated on all aspects of software development including design and testing.
Ecrio inc, Cupertino, CA, USA
Ecrio(tm) is a
provider of advanced wireless messaging software to wireless carriers,
portals, service providers, and corporations. The Ecrio Rich Instant
Messaging Platform, the Ecrio Intelligent Delivery Engine, and the Ecrio
Communication Gateway handle All Media(tm) content and support devices such
as PDAs, WAP and SMS enabled phones, and desktop computers.
We work closely with
Ecrio on software development for their Instant Messaging Platform, both
for the Server and for the Clients, including Palm, PocketPC, J2ME devices
and Symbian phones. We also perform software testing and QA for their
products. We developed a J2ME Client conforming to the Wireless Village
specifications. We are also working on developing an engine for Push to
Talk over Cellular which conforms to the OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) specifications.
Network Computer
House, Bologna, Italy
NCH specializes in banking software and
provides software tools and services to about 80% of the banks in Italy. We have successfully developed and Level 2 certified an EMV Kernel for ATM Machines. The development was in Microsoft .NET enviroment. We have also developed a
cross platform high-level communication protocol,to allow banking applications to
communicate across multiple platforms including Win95, WinNT, Solaris and AIX. The
implementation was in C++. We implemented the layers corresponding to the Layers 5, 6 and
7 of the OSI model. We also implemented a Zmodem like protocol for Layer 4.Currently we are also developing Retail and Banking solutions for them using
J2EE technologies like Spring, Hibernate, JSP, Struts, Websphere AS and Websphere MQ.
We have developed a detailed Procedure and
Guideline for Test Plan preparation, which is in the process of introduction at NCH. We
also undertook a study on selection of a test tool for NCH; and Rational
Corporations products have been recommended.
Geologix Limited, UK
Geologix is developer of the GEO Software Suite of PC-based, well log data management applications. We are currently
developing software for some of their products namely, GeoX-Section and GeoGraph.
Terablaze Inc., USA
Terablaze (subsequently acquired by Agere) was a provider of switch fabric subsystems including chipsets, reference designs,
software and full-blown demo systems. The switch fabric was scalable upto multi-terabits and
a single device can support several hundred Gbps. The port speeds were 10Gbps and above. We worked closely with Terablaze in defining and developing a verification platform at
the System and Block level.
Applied
Simulation Technology Inc., San Jose, CA, USA
We developed a software tool in Java (Sun JDK 1.1.7) for easy creation, edits and view of model files conforming to the IBIS (Input/output buffer interface specification) standard ANSI/EIA-565. We also developed a circuit simulator for simulating very large linear circuits, specially those derived from parasitic extraction.
EIA IBIS Open Forum, USA
The IBIS Forum is an organization of semiconductor vendors, EDA (Electronic Design Automation) software vendors and IC end users, who have developed the ANSI/EIA 656 standard for exchange of model information, for input/output buffers used in ICs.A parser for checking compliance of IBIS buffer model files against the ANSI/EIA-656 standard was implemented by us in C.
Enable Semiconductor
Inc., Milpitas, CA, USA
Enable (subsequently purchased by Lucent) was a
fabless design house, specializing in Ethernet 10/100 transceiver chips. We consulted for
them,on the EDA aspects of their designs.
- We developed analog behavioral models for their PLL
circuitry in the spectreAHDL modelling language.
- We characterized their standard cells for timing delays.
- We developed software in C to analyze delay paths for their
circuits.
- We optimized their filter circuits using the Hspice circuit
simulator.
Technology CAD
Division, National Semiconductor Corporation, USA
We have worked closely with the Technology
CAD and LAN Divisions of National Semiconductor. We implemented new GUI features and
proprietary models in their device model parameter extraction tool and in their in-house
circuit simulator. We also worked on developing their cell library for the Cadence
framework and on integrating their circuit simulator within it.
We developed high level analog behavioral
models for analog blocks in National's transceiver chip DP83223A using spectreHDL under
Cadence OPUS 4.3.2.
We generated IBIS models for the entire
range of their Clock Generation and Support chips. We developed a tool for accurate
generation of timing parameters from standard cell layouts. The tool was interfaced with
other CAD tools in National,to allow the user to extract circuit simulation netlists from
the layout, perform characterization runs, generate a database of timing parameters and
output annotated netlists for timing analysis. A novel technique for setup/hold time
computations was also implemented.
